About Food,Photography & France
Photographer and film maker living in France. After a long career in London, my wife and I have settled in the Vendee, where we run residential digital photography courses with a strong gastronomic flavour.
Dang, Roger, I’d love to be there. You know, I’m thinking your should do a course in Maine. Check out Maine Media Workshops. I bet you could teach a course there and for sure you’d have a great place to stay.
That sounds such a tempting idea, Lulu….would Donald let me in?
I’ll speak to him!
…by the way, Lulu, thanks for the link to Maine Media Workshops…they don’t seem to do any food photography courses so it could be a thought
From time to time there is a food photo workshop. I took one and was not happy with it but that’s another story. Typically, MMW does a great job, but food takes a little preliminary planning and the instructor (a pro) failed to communicate his expectations. MMW is one of the top photo schools in the US and many well know folks come there to teach.
Thanks for the heads up..:)
Roger, they look like paintings. Great effect. Perhaps that’s how you do it. Paint the scene and tell us it’s a photograph. Very sly!
Well that’s put paid to that trick….:)
