Owing to a direct hit in which my computer modem was “grillé”…. the machine is toast….I have been without any internet access for the last few days. With any luck this should change tomorrow.

That’s no fun at all 😦
Oh dear – hope everything and everyone is ok though – the wind has finally died down here in London anyway but the floods continue…
Oh dear. Don’t like. But thank you for getting Queen stuck in my head: I’m driving the cat up the pole singing all the roles.
Wishing you lots of luck in getting yourself back online….
Hoorah…it’s happened:)
Fab
🙂
Sorry to hear that. Mother Nature can be such a beast.
Mother Nature combined with French bureaucracy is even worse:)
Bummer.
🙂
Sorry for your trouble. Every writer’s worst nightmare….get back online soon!
Thanks…I’ve just got it sorted…have to start catching up:)
Merde 😦
I’m out of the merde at last:)
I don’t like, and I clicked like to express the fact that I don’t like. Speakers and now your computer, Roger. The pits. Here’s to a glass of good French wine and heat and blue sky. And maybe a slice of cheese.
Many thanks for that, Andra….delicious:)
oh poo!.. c
Oh poo, indeed:)
booooo!!! But better than having bad viruses invading. I am sure once you are connected to the out world again, you will come with one of your greatest deliciousnesses! Good luck, Roger!
We don’t like viruses at all. Back on line at last:)
Hope all fixed soon. Hunker down with some great food and nice wine.
Cheers…nice thoughts:)
Oh Roger, that’s frightening – but you seem ok. I too was without computer for nearly 10!!! days, wheels i.e. repair man move slowly here :). Take care.
Just reconnected ….good feeling:)
Glad you are back online. I couldn’t get service for two weeks and know the feeling. I was going blind using my iPhone. New modem works fine.
It’s strange feeling so cut off.
Hope you’ve had better luck by now!
All sorted now….thanks:)
Nothing worse than no connection … how on earth did we manage BC (before computers)?
BC…love it:)
Oh NO! something the French say at such a time pop into one’s mind …. sorry to hear it
I said it…quite a few times. It’s all sorted now:)
Bad news, Roger! I hope that’s all the damage suffered. I found going without an internet connection rather unsettling. I’d no idea I’d grown so dependent.
Me too. In fact it was quite relaxing:)
