This is a busy week here with clients. The sun has shone, we’ve done pictures and most of all, we’ve eaten well. Last night we had a simple entree of Pork Rillettes with cornichons, followed by an Elizabeth David recipe for Salmon steaks cooked in Loire wine.
A good Coulommiers and a green salad was followed by a Tarte a l’Orange from a recipe by Mary Cadogan.
Today is starting off with a mist heralding sun, more photography and a very good dinner at the end – after lunch of course. All the recipes can be found in my book “Eating at La Moussiere” which is available from Blurb.com in book form or as an ebook for Ipad or Iphone.
I would love to attend one of your classes … it looks so yummy !!! I’m sure your clients were delighted !
We’d love to see you here anytime. Today I’m cooking the Poulet Roti l’Ami Louis which is delicious:)
On mange extremement bien “Chez Roger”! Hope you get to relax soon!
That’s the problem – we have such good fun that you don’t realise how tired you are until it’s over:)
Mmmmm….rilletes….
My, you do take such good care of your clients! I hope the rest of their stay is as successful as this lunch was.
It would be nice if the rain stopped today – guess we have to stay in and drink and eat:)
Delicious!
The salmon dish is so simple and so good:)
Salivate. Salivate. Salivate.
Tonight will be even better!
You’d be so great to cook with and learn from.. lucky clients, those!!
Thanks for that:)
It all looks wonderful, especially the orange tart with the strips of delicious looking peel. Hope the rain stops, but even if it doesn’t there’s the food and wine to enjoy!
Rain stopped everything but play:)
You do a book for iPad? Huzzah. Your photographs are driving my palette crazy, Roger. Those pork rillettes….and the salmon on its little bed of greenery. Just gorgeous.
Hi there. Yes both books can be bought in iPad or iPhone ebook form for very little money from Blurb.com. There’s a link to the site on the right hand side of the blog:)
Your food always is beautiful, but oh that tarte…. mmmmmmm! I can almost (almost) smell it!
It’s such a simple recipe ( which can be found in my book “Eating at La Moussiere” and it tastes delicious:)
Okay, your pork rillettes sound infinitely more delicious than the sardine ones I had to make a few weeks ago.
Pork rillettes will always have the edge on sardine rillettes:)
Good to hear you’re busy, but with food like this how could you not be?
Many thanks Greg – just served dinner for the last day of this course. Really sad seeing good new friends leave.
