Lazy Sunday Afternoon…

The rain just ran away leaving blue skies and a soft wind with a hint of Autumn. Such a day, being a Sunday as well, which fact I know from the days of the week printed on my gout tablet packet, has demanded a lackadaisical approach. We have sat at several different tables in the garden deciding if the glass of wine we were drinking tasted best under an olive tree in the sun, or under the awning in the shade. So much decision making is enervating, so sleep overcame us. I’m sure we’ll eat well this evening.

  1. I miss that wine! Hi Jenny.

  2. Aah – decisions, decisions. It´s a tough life but someone´s got to live it!

  3. It was all so lovely until you mentioned gout. Ha, seriously nice post.

  4. It must have been difficult, but worth doing. What a beautiful corner – the wine must taste good here! Do your olive trees stay outside in winter? I know they can stand very cold weather because they do here, but I thought they needed it to be dry.

The softness of the shade or the warmth of the sun…I think your choice of time spent at each was wonderful. A short nap makes Sunday’s just perfect.
