Super market lady

This is the redoubtable Mme Roustand who sells the most wonderful “bio” produce. Her tiny shop, situated next to the sitting room in her farm house, only sells super things. She doesn’t hang a sign defining her wares as “Super”, they just are. Every egg, leek, carrot, potato or cabbage is achingly fresh. You get a very quizzical look if you mention this, as she imagines you may be mocking her. She only knows fresh. The cereals for the flour come from her farm, and are turned into flour at a nearby flour mill. She would like to install a stone for grinding and milling her own flour, but it would cost 3000€, so that won’t happen. The lemon tart was made with flour and eggs from here. Most mornings, summer or winter, she can be found at her market stall at one of four different local markets. This breed of person has the Super gene, so missing in those most adulated in our brave new world of spoilt non people.
